Deep ruby color, aromas of blackberry, plum, and cassis. This is blend of 40% Syrah, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon and 26% Grenache - not something youd wouid expect, but quite interesting. Full body, medium acidity, a little hot, and prominent tannins that are not harsh. Complex flavors of ripe dark fruit, long finish with tannins that linger a little too long. A really good wine, will need a few more years to fully integrate the flavors and let the tannins smooth out, I would hold on to it until at least 2025.

This is from winemaker Guillaume Fabre and his wife Solene in Paso Robles. Discovered this wine recently from a Jeb Dunnuck review. I really enjoyed reading about the vineyard in Paso Robles and the family that makes these wines. Don't miss the videos where Mr. Fabre takes you around the vineyard and talks about what he's planting. This wine in particular is totally drinkable and lasted well into third day. Its also quite young, look forward to tasting again in a few years.

Just exceptional. Much better showing than the last bottle.

Nice wine but there's something about syrah and cabernet together which just doesn't work well for me.
