  • Pale golden. Good albeit coarse bubbles. Quite a bit of oaked chardonnay on the nose. Some green apple and apple pie, hints of gooseberry. Starts off really nicely. Taste of aging notes, i.e. having exaggerated a bit on the use of barrels, probably. And something very jura, almost oxidized, back there. But by the second glass, it becomes quite salinic and short/sharp. Still tasteful wine, but far from fully integrated. Bottle should be shared to avoid the feeling of too much of everything (except aging).

  • Not great. Compared with a Henriot Souvreins and did not show well. Little richness, muted nose. Still OK.
