  PnP: big fruity aromas of overripe plums and strawberries, bing cherry, apricot with volcanic notes of cinder and ash lurking behind the fruit. It really strikes me like a really serious Nero d'Avola. It's fruity but sophisticated. It was best when initially opened and then faded and became increasingly more sour as the night went on. I don't think there's any rush to drink it but when you pop it's best to drink over the first couple hours.

  Really loved this wine. Have tasted several volcanic reds recently and just love them. Bright red fruits, like a fresh glass of red currant juice. Acidic bite, but not out of balance. Really nothing out of balance. Went well with homemade cacio e Pepe.
