My last from half a case I got and it was the best. Probably it's in the best drinking window now. Very well integrated tannins and fruits. Very good QPR

WSET practice night with Bas (en Lennart) (Zeist): PnP, developed over the course of the evening. What a wine, clearly the WOTN. Big, velvety, complex and still very young and primary, very much like Cote Rotie. Medium intensity with kirsch, licorice, bacon/meaty, black cherries, black currant, rosed, black plum. Velvety nose. Medium acidity, medium alcohol, full bodied, medium+ flavor intensity. Medium+ finish
Unfortunately only one bottle, very curious how this will develop

Great wine right out of the bottle. Solid backbone with gentle tannins and good freshness. Long taste with blue and black berries, pepper, stone, blood and chocolate in the finish. Wonderful!

Very varietal nose, with at this time a lot of wood influence. Bacon, jamy blackcurrant, vanilla, oak. Mouth is juicy, earthy, fleshy with strong black fruit notes, strong barrel influence and yet a lovely freshness and purity to it. It's bold and extracted but still distinguished and elegant, with some kind of austere vibe/minerality going on after a couple hours. Same impressions as Josh Reynolds from Vinous, but if you like this profile don't wait up till 2024 though, it's quite delicious right now. Too bad it was my only one, would have love to see this evolve.
