Wood is bit on the nose, feels bit tannic, alcohol shows up in just the slightly, but still fresh, with good acidity, and decent aftertaste. The wine could be a bit better "calibrated", and it may be a question of time, maybe not. Still, I appreciate the way this winemaker handles the alentejo terroir, they seem to prize balance over power, I like that. Overall, not excelletn, but very good, excellent value, and a great match for some ribs.

Probably a bit past its prime, but still a very solid weeknight wine. Fruit feels muted a bit, but the rest of the structure is intact.
