Very solid Pinot from Tyler that combines both red and black fruit. Very nice structure and integration. Nice oak influences with the beauty of the fruit still present and emergent. Nice mouthfeel with a dusty, rose quality. I need to remember to give these Pinot's time in the bottle as they definitely improve with age.

Very solid Pinot Noir. So much for keeping my hands off my last bottle. I will reaffirm that I think will even be better 1-2 years down the line. This has a savory element that provides depth and complexity. Both red and dark fruit interplay well. This has good structure and will undoubtedly continue to evolve and integrate.

Very flat, simple, and one-dimensional. Would be hard to identify this as Pinot Noir blind. Had a similar experience with their 2017 La Rinconada in that there just wasn't much to it. Their 2017 Dierberg pinot, however, was outstanding so I wonder if this variation is a reflection of the vintage or the vineyard sites.

In the short time since my initial tasting of this bottle the wine has settled in and has integrated nicely. Beautiful red and dark fruit with a nice savory/earth element deliver quite nicely. Fruit is gorgeous and the mouthfeel is very nice. I will hold my last bottle as I believe the best days for this are yet to come. Drinking very nicely now though.

Light, mild tannins, not much acid or structure underpinning this Pinot. Certainly not the QPR when compared with DDLC.
