Still drinking nicely. Deep ruby. Plum and blackberry on the nose. Medium mouth feel. Smooth. Plum, blackberry and some spice on the palate. Medium smooth slightly finish.

My last tasting bought this wine to the front of my mind as a potential left field match to lamb forequarter chops with a yoghurt and mint dressing. Nose of black and red cherry, a little plum with a slight herbaceous underpin & a touch of peppery spice. In the mouth it's fresh, fleshy, similar fruit profile, the herbaceous note is lifted slightly by the mint and it proves rather splendid and an excellent match. Yum.
