Decanted for 3 hours. Nose strong of coffee and cinnamon. Low acid initially but it hits back with a good jab mid palate. Cherries and chocolate. Clearly had a sweetness to it. Moderate length finish.

At my cousin Mitch's house, following the magnum of 1998 Pride we opened the first of the bottles I brought and this wine was all ready to drink. Fruit on the nose, the palate was berry, cherry, rhubarb, eucalyptus and hints of licorice. the finish was full and smooth.

Dark purple in the glass. Strong cherry, cassis, and vanilla notes on the palate. Well made, but somewhat typical steakhouse cabernet sauvignon.
