Garnet color, with an orange rim. Dried red fruit, rose petals and tar on the nose. Medium+ body, with red fruit and herbal undertones on the finish. Tannins are well integrated. Very good.

Wines with 25+ Years Non-Blind (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Pure crimson with orange rim; still driving flavors, sour cherry, medicinal, cedar, still tannic, good wine but very linear and youthfully boring in comparison to the 1958, I guess we need to give this 32 more years?

With 10 minor air opened up beautifully and stayed in good form for the next four hours. Traditional, bright color, no oak. Not the most perfumed or complex, but fruit is still intact, acidity fresh, and tannins could use up to 10 more years to continue to soften before giving up the ghost
positively surprised, mature nose, dominant licorice, pnp drunk over 2 days, day one high acidity on the palate after a while, but enjoyed, day 2 better, palate not overly acid like day1 and nose more sharp and lovely mature, overall lacks a complexity but still well balanced and nice mature wine to enjoy now

Drink between: 2007 - 2016 is the bull. If properly stored this wine is good for another 20 years. Fantastic wine
