A bit strange on the palate by itself but came alive with Shrimp Scampi. Had to serve myself seconds of the Scampi so that I could enjoy another glass. Excellent!

A real odd ball nose. French oak for 8m. Very bread-y aromas. Palate is more realistic. Shows a little barrel and spice on the palate, fruit up against pineapple.

Classic Monterey expression. Love it. Got it for $7 a bottle by the case late in drinking age.

Yellow in color with a golden hue.
Strong nose of citrus, oak, vanilla, spices, black pepper, yellow apples and over ripened pears.
Full-bodied and buttery with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, vanilla, oak, spices, yellow apples, pears, pineapple and lemons.
Tangy on the finish.
This is a nice oaky chardonnay from Monterey, California.
Good by itself or with food and a nice everyday wine. Even though an oaky chardonnay is not my favorite, I enjoyed it.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
87 points.
$18.
