This wine is the textbook definition of vinous tension. Precise minerality with austere fruit and refreshing acidity. As unyielding as this wine was, and as humble as its’s origins were, I was mesmerized by it. I wonder if this is similar to what people who can afford Roulot think when they taste that Bourgogne Blanc.

Huh. Found a bottle in the cellar.
Has a definite caramel note now though not overly aged. More texture than fruit.

A really structured and dynamic BB. Low-toned and almost basic but then layers pears, marzipan and a lanolin vibe. Really nice.

A slightly richer impression that my previous bottle, but equally fresh and delicious.

Very nice. Good acidity and balance. Focused. Upfront citrus and then richer, brioche-like notes. Nice weight. Simple without compromise.
