Nose of melon, honey, and granite. Taste of strawberries and a hint of nectarine. Dry finish with a hint of minerality. Balanced and goes well with lighter dishes like fish.

December 2019 Second bottle Alone, I found Chris' Rose' on the dry side. First evening, with homemade turkey soup - VERY tasty, although drier than my preference, I enjoyed this wine. With accompanying sourdough toast, even drier. I've found not all wines share my enthusiasm for sourdough (or Irish soda bread). Second evening, paired with linguine and clam sauce - softer, fruitier - an even better pairing! Thank you, Chris!
April 2019 Chris is a great addition to the NW 'stable' of winemakers! So glad you you found us or we found you! As suggested, I took this wine out of the fridge and let it come to "slightly chilled" Alone, I found it quite tart. (as I had the 2017 vintage) First evening, paired with my crazy pizza (shrimp, sweet sausage, shrooms, pineapple), it was fruity and softer. Still drier than my preference, but very nice. Last evening, I paired it with homemade Pad Thai. Thank you, Carol Sarna, for the inspiration and recipe. Very tasty combination. Sipping another glass (yes, me - a second glass!) later in the evening, crispy-tart - too dry for me, but tasty. Thank you, Chris!

One of the better Rose's out there. Fairly dry with non over powering fruit. An excellent Rose.
