basically Martinelli's + 5.5% , for adults... Nice and crisp, with a little less sweetness than many others. A nice refreshing 'opener' for bottles brought for a summer night concert in the park.

Dawn: As expected, very sweet. Initial hit of apricot, peach, and stewed pear, with hint of pineapple. Very light carbonation. Great with desert, cheeses, or just on its own.

Notes consistent with previous bottle, with richly honeyed floral aromas, nectarine and maybe some pear, but this bottle had brighter acidity so it came off as markedly more enjoyable and balanced.

Pale straw-green in color. This has an unusual richness for a moscato d'Asti, with honeyed floral and stonefruit aromas and flavors, but it doesn't have sufficient acidity to balance it, so it's coming off as a little heavy. Imagining that it's lost some of its original freshness.
