Yes, it is from Spain, Rioja, in fact, but this has a ton of Provençal markers: light color, subtle red fruit, a touch of funk (I love the funk). The palate is perfectly fine: fruit (I think?), acidity, It's tasty, well-made, and a wine that I would drink on just about any day of the year. thedrunkencyclist.com

By the glass at the Lounge, LHR. Part of their Rioja exhibition. Freshly opened . Much like the Muga rose ( papies 88) a light a pure rose, devout of a confectionary side. Light maybe a touch more bitter edge here , light playful and aromatic. Serve by the beach! 87

First batch of Spring rose: Pale copper color. Bright aromas of white cherries, strawberries, watermelon rind, with wild herbs and wildflowers. Zippy yet creamy on the palate with fresh white cherries, strawberries, red apple peel. Spicy notes of baby’s breath, honeysuckle, white pepper, some herbal tea elements. This Rioja rose has a salad and tapas-friendly appeal, and a good value. 55% Garnacha, 45% Tempranillo.

Fresh, zippy provencal style pale pink rose. Decent quaffer at this price, but it's not got a lot of personality.
