I needed an inexpensive sparkler for my NYE celebration and chose Andre Jacquart. I can blame myself for not being more generous. Andre Jacquart Vertus is nothing out of the ordinary. A very dry, nutty pour, that is not at all interesting. I'm sorry that I didn't spend a bit more and buy something better.

I found the nose quite muted on this bottle, unfortunately. It showed very subtle hints of pear, lemon, and yeast. The color is bright and golden. It has great balance and is extremely expressive on the palate. Lemon drops, apple, toasty, and yeasty notes. It's not your traditional champagne, that's for sure. Extremely unique. It was great overall and had a lovely finish. Something I would drink again.

Delicious - esp for me in being a blocked malo Champagne. I must resist the temptation to drink more soon. Keep till 2030
