Still zingy and zesty but with some weight on both nose and palate, partly from age but compared with the 2016 this also gives the impression of riper fruit. Mouthwatering acidity, mostly lime and green apple but some watermelon too. Super fresh.

Not yet fully mature at 7 yrs old, but drinking very well all the same with plenty of character and charm. Pretty much a dry Foodie style with most of the Australian Riesling boxes ticked. Great VFM/QPR, will buy more of this 2013 Clare Valley/Polish Hill.
N.....kero, apple skin
C.....golden straw, looks med+ body
T.....sharp, dry, some greengages, honey over lemons, sour/tart passionfruit, lemon pith; plenty of acidity, some length in middle and a long(ish) finish; some wet stone/flint minerals. More Foodie style than a Quaffer.
VFM?....Bargain. Buying more 2013.

I can't rate this because I don't like it at all. It doesn't have any obvious flaws. I just don't like it. Maybe I just need more understanding of what this is trying to be. It smells like Gewürz, but it tastes like Sauvignon Blanc. I find this unstructured, angular and deeply unpleasant. Bleurgh!

Faint hit of petrol on the nose and plenty of lemon sherbet on the palate. Citrus zest on the finish.
