Very interesting unfiltered wine. The nose is floral (Aligote) with fresh stone fruits (Chardonnay). Palate is medium acid, but lush body suggesting that the wine has been exposed to lees for some time. There is a faint oxidative note on the finish preceded by some stone fruits, but altogether a lovely wine. I would not hold for too much longer given its unfiltered state and perhaps instability in the foreseeable future.

A private dinner (Restaurant JA, Amsterdam, NL): Vin de France, vintage on the cork. Négoce, a blend of Chardonnay from the Jura and Bourgogne, with some Aligoté from Bourgogne, spontaneous fermentation, bottled without filtration or added sulfite, 12.5% ABV. Still fresh and youthful, bright and supple, ripe citrus (tangerine, lemon), unmistakable hint of Jura terroir, clear and precise, beautifully balanced, good length. Masterful wine making and blending here.

Chardonnay and Aligoté (mix of Jura and Burgundy fruit). That's weird, but the wine is actually clean and straightforward. Peaches, apricot, stone notes. Mineral driven. Medium bodied.

Very interesting white. Due to losing so much of the crop in 2017, Ganevat turned to friends to source some extra fruit. This is a mix of Chardonnay and Aligoté and it has quite a golden color already, but is not oxidized at all. I believe there is no SO2 added (or if so, very little) and it has a clean, fresh character, with stoney notes and just a hint of richness from the Chardonnay (presumably). Was a perfect match for roast chicken (humungous surprise) :)

More dirty and oxidative than I can read from other reviewers. Defect? Really difficult to say when Jura is the origin..
