Slightly round with a hint of honey on the nose (at first at least). Could've mistaken this for a sweeter wine based on the nose only. On the palate, citrus candy with a little too much parfumed soap initially, which faded and became more balanced with time and air. Had this in '21 and it was a lot better now.

This tastes Riesling but I can’t extract aromas from this the way I can in a Kabinett. A (good) Kabinett is bursting with flavours and energy, and by comparison this just appears bland. Totally OK but not the balance I’m looking for sadly.

Several aspects of yellow citrus, herbs, gunflint and white pepper. Zesty and notably saline/salty, with "electric" properties and sensations of baking soda. Outstanding dry Riesling, and one of the most intense expressions of Riesling on limestone available.

Citrus, lychee, stenfrukt, smörblommor, honungsmelon, krutstänk och ett uns cykelslang...allt inbäddat i en lätt oljig fetma med framträdande mineraler och fina mjuka syror.

Similar to previous note but there is something that is off, at first I feel traces of spontaneous fermentation but even with this blown off by long decanting there is a bitterness and sweetness I don’t recall finding previously. I can still see many of the qualities but this bitter-sweet character is maning the wine far less convincing. Reminds me of an over-dosaged (to my taste) champagne, this sweetness.
