MMD Tour 2022 Tasting. St. Regis Hotel (St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco): Nose of black cherry, allspice, and rich fruit, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, needs two years to peak, and a medium finish.

Tasted blind.
Medium purple color, opaque with a purple rim. Pronounced tears.
Medium intense nose of dark fruits, black plums, cassis, menthol.
Medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ acidity. Fine tannins, not pronounced. Very little new oak. Nice medium length finish.
This showed nice typicity of right bank Bordeaux and made it easy to place.

Medium bodied, bright and juicy with more depth and fruit than usual, which provides the backdrop for flowers, black cherry, spice and licorice to come through on the nose and palate. 89-91 Pts
