  Decanted off sediment for 30min and back to bottle for slow ox, followed over an evening.
  
  I generally agree with the note from Matt Scott (9/16/22). Gorgeously layered cassis, gravely earth, floral freshness. Full bodied palate with a bit of sage, blue fruit, and a very supple lift from acidity. Finish is long and reflects red/blue florals and supple tannins.
  
  Lovely wine. Has plenty of ripeness but extremely well balanced with freshness and character. In a primary stage now and hasn't turned the corner. I'd expect this to go 10 years or so, not a 30 year wine to me.
  
  Drinks beautifully now with a 2-3h of air, probably best in 7 years. 92-93
  
  Day 2: Saved 4oz in a boston round bottle overnight in the fridge. Just glorious for my palate today. Nice energy, ripe red fruit, little bit of herbal lift, fine gravel. Shed a lot of the baby fat and is just a gorgeous wine now. Some tannins are showing too!

  A second wine only in name, this simply rocks. Smokey blackberry, dried sage, gravel, blueberries, cassis and chocolate. The body is full and the tannins are layered with starchy microfiber. Finishes long and there’s a resoundingly welcomed smoke element. Such a round middle. Decanted for two hours. Drink 2025 -.

  中宝石红偏紫色，闻香有青椒和黑果的香气，一些橡木桶的烘烤气息，入口酸度中高，单宁紧涩，糊一嘴，青椒混合着黑果，带着些泥土气息，能感觉到酒精的辛辣感。一款年份很新的酒，集中度漂亮，但还需要更多时间变得优雅平衡。

  A: med+ ruby, dark ruby core
  N: med- intensity, smoky, wet earth, Asian spices, slight licorice, savory, violet (developing)
  P: med- intensity of fruit, red and black fruit, cranberry, black and red currant, slight baking spices, cedar, licorice, violet
  
  Med acid, med+ alcohol, dry, full body, med- tannin. Lacking some structure and backbone. Impeccably balanced, but not enough intensity on any front to stand out either. Opened up a little more before holding for 2 hours. Very non offensive, easy to drink and smooth. Very French styling. 90pt
