Wow what a nice bottle of Bordeaux and such a great value. One of my favorites for a random Wednesday and just drinking beautifully right now. This is a Bordeaux drinkers Bordeaux. Light on the nose but a great feel and lots of dark fruit and texture. Some tannins on the finish makes me think we still have time here. At ballpark $35 I’m a big fan and all I can say is enjoy!
Just bought a case of the ‘09 and can’t wait to try it. I know that could be ambitious not sure this one is made for 15-years of cellaring but I have a feeling it could be an upside auction surprise. Going to be a few weeks before I can pick it up so stay tuned. Be sure to post my thoughts on the ‘09 vintage and fingers crossed.

Some nice funkiest on the nose and a little hint of spice on the pallet. About what you would expect from a pleasant Bordeaux.

Prince - Cabernets of the world (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Plums, sweet spice, a little red berry and mint add interest and complexity. Plain chocolate joins the plummy fruit on the palate, tannins are woody and a little tough. Hmm.

It was OK on day 1. Fell off pretty hard by day 3. Not a lot of fruit, pretty alcoholic.
