  • Very intriguing kind of Vin Jaune. More fruity, almost jammy, than I’m used to. Still delicious and complex - just a surprise. Apricot jam, dried orange, roasted walnut, yellow raisin, sourdough, orange oil, dry hay, dried ginger, quince, banana chips, mild Tiger Balm notes, caramel, wax or fresh resin and a chalky minerality. Of course with the classic aromas of oxidation and flor.
Rich and round, very soft and almost juicy for a Vin Jaune, with a medium acidity. Dry, yes, but not bony. Orange jam, yellow raisins, fresh red apple, tangerine, lemon peel, roasted nuts, fresh ginger, hints of green olives, mild VA and a chalky and salt finish.

Not as mineral and tight as usual for this kind of wine.
Intense, soft and fruity. Still oxidative, of course.
