  • WineX had(has) this has $20/bottle again, after having the 2013 version a year or so ago also at the same price. Not sure what's going on with this bottling as it normally sells for $60+. That 2013 was pretty weak and I wanted to see how this 2017 fared in comparison. Well, not much better. This was not bad, with some nice cherry notes, but it came across as a bit flabby, suffering from a lack of acidic lift. Overall, it was OK but uninspiring and I am not going to reload on this, even at this highly discounted price. I don't know, after having this and the 2013, maybe the vineyard just isn't all that well suited to Pinot.
