Reynard Dinner (Ada St.): Abundant ripe orchard fruit with lots of mineral, modest reduction and a hint of tropical. Well balanced with fresh acids providing lift and length to the ample, round fruit. Fun now, and should improve with a few more years of age.

Allemand Reynard survey (Chicago, IL): Clearly a riper version of a Moreau wine, with a bit of stone fruit providing roundness here. Not much reduction to note here, this has an approachable palate showing a generous helping of fruit, but with sufficient acidity despite a touch of sweetness to hold things in balance. I've really liked 2018 white Burgundies and this bottle is no exception to that.

White peach, citrus, yellow fruit and flowers on the nose and palate. Generous power with hint of ripeness but it also has good acidity backbone. Very nice.

POB tasting EP18- While the 2018 can be a bit too ripe, Moreau has handled this vintage quite well. The Meursault is so mineral driven with good acidity and balance. Among all nego investment made by POB, Bernard Moreau's project is the most successful in my humble view.

Domaine Bernard Moreau Cellar Visit and Tasting (Chassagne-Montrachet): Barrel tasting at the domaine, also from a once used barrel. Once again done with/ for PoB from the same source as before. A step up vs the 2017 (not something I will say often for white Burg in 2018). Lots of apple, apple tart, almond butter with both impressive brightness and richness. Very impressive potential. I hope to taste this again in the summer.
