Decanted during dinner at a restaurant. Rich and concentrated but not overextracted, some residual sweetness but far less noticeable paired with food. Big cherry and strawberry fruit, Nebbiolo like floral character, mineral/vitamin; on the nose you could possibly mistake this for Barolo but on the palate the difference is clear though still in the same general territory. M+ body, M to M+ tannin, M acid. 7.3-7.4/10

We always approach his wines with caution, a bit of a funky selection of offerings and with its own special/natural/borderline weird style. Especially the whites. This munjebel was pretty and very enjoyable even for non traditional followers of the guy. Some fizziness on the palate to start but post that, welcoming, good fruit, soft tannin and with good soft dark fruit. Pinot aromatics at times but very distinct. Not sure and neither would we risk ageing this. 91
