$50 plus Domestic Pinot Noir Tasting (Minneapolis, MN): Dark fruit and the biggest style of the 4 Pinots tasting tonight. Wood, earth and floral notes. Medium and concentrated finish. For sure needs time. Drink 2025 to 2032.

Big Pinot with lots of dark red and blue fruit accompanied by baking spices. Lots of body, medium acid, medium round tannins, and a long fruity, spicy finish. At 14.1% ABV, I expected more burn, but the very concentrate fruits balance out the higher ABV on this wine. Compared this to a 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin at a testing - 2 very different styles of Pino Noir....

Penney Ash has really fallen off for me. Decanted roughly 2.5 hours and did open beautifully with bright fruit and some spice.
