Bit too subtle; if you walked in the same circles as this one and saw them at several parties, you would never remember their name. But their rosé sister, well she can be the life of the party and is worth getting to know.

This was real nice, really a treat, really enjoyed tasting this effervescent wine made from Pinot Blanc grapes, and what's interesting is that it shared a particular oily/mineral taste with a still Pinot Blanc I tasted at Alma Rosa in the Ste. Rita Hills at least 10 years ago. Intriguing that the same grape could taste similar in different places with differing amount of dissolved CO2.

Pale yellow in the glass. Light pear notes on the nose. Fine bubbles, crisp apple and pear on the palate and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Amazing bargain. Found this at Costco for $10.
