Medium lemon in colour with minor petulance on the glass. Fairly aromatic for a Chardonnay with initial notes of popcorn, smoke and a hint of lemon & wet gravel. On the palate, medium to full bodied juicy citrus, lemon curd, brioche, somewhat floral, saline, medium acidity with a long finish to spicy citrus & chalky minerality. Apparently no oak used in the wine making process. Tropical fruit & apple notes not apparent in the tasting of this bottle. Perhaps disappearing towards the end of the drinking window? An appreciated Chablis style from California Chardonnay, but definitely more robust. Well done!

Slow ox in glass for 30 minutes. Nice tropical and stone fruit aromas. Notes of pear, apple and peach on the medium-bodied palate with additional lime and minerals on the juicy, energetic finish. Sort of a Cali chard meets Chablis - very little oak. Only potential downside is a bit of heat on the finish when it warms up (14.5% octane).

medium straw and clear in color, not terribly aromatic but if you search you can find citrus, cantaloupe, and floral aromas, maybe a hint of saltiness as well. dry with medium-to-high acidity mostly with flavors of citrus and honey, short on the finish

Had with lobster chowder with bacon (excellent) on Vinalhaven. Serviceable but uninspiring.
