Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 92.5 points

  • Over two days.

Mostly forward on the first day, showing effusive tangy fruits, pepper, dark chocolate and hints of coal and smoke. The dark chocolate and coal elements became pronounced on the second day, draping a sturdy, medium plus acid and light gritty tannin frame. Compelling finish. Not your run of the mill, New World Syrah. Intriguing and delicious! 92-93.

  • Refined and sophisticated. The wine graciously tips its cap to the Old World. Red sweet and tart berries, expansive peppercorn elements, and highly appealing range. Delicious now, better in time.
