  • PnP. Consistent with my note from 10/2021. Cherry and red berry fruit, nice mushroom/forest floor under the fruit, floral notes, lovely, intriguing spice notes. Flavors are well integrated and balanced. This is my last bottle of this vintage but if you have more, there's no rush to drink it. This comes across as mature, but it seems like it's just hitting it's plateau of maturity, so you should have several more years to open and enjoy it.

  • No contemporaneous notes. My 8th of 9 bottles. Decanted and consumed immediately and over two hours. This wine is in a great place; it is aromatic, balanced, concentrated and complex. Excellent. Wonderful with grilled chicken. (92-93+).

  • Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Nice floral notes. I didn't get much on this when I popped and poured. Starting to open with some air. Savory red berry fruits. Nice spice. Good crunch. Well balanced. An excellent QPR.

  • My 7th bottle of 9. No contemporaneous notes. Opened shortly before serving, no decant. Nice complexity on the aromatic nose, earth. Fruit forward on the palate, berries, balance. Probably would have been even better with more air. Nicely paired with roasted/baked chicken and corned beef. Very nice, so obviously not a CA pinot. Very high Q2P ratio; apparently the sweet spot in the EW lineup. (91-93).

  • My 5th bottle of 9. Opened for about two hours, no decant. Nice aromatics, fruit (berries) and earth on the complex and balanced palate. This is excellent.
