This is solid Premier Cru Chablis, yet lacked some of the intensity I typically expect at this level, particularly with Mont de Milieu. Perhaps in an awkward stage? Something missing here that prevented this from being a winner. Good, but far from great. Development apparent with the fruit, yet still quite a bit of acid and higher-tones green fruits. If you have a bottle maybe wait a bit before approaching.

Somewhat disappointing. There are classic Chablis notes like oyster shells and lemon. On the whole, however, the wine seemed flat and unremarkable. Maybe it was too early. For now, I think the L'Humeur du temps is the better option (cheaper as well).

Quarantine; 3/12/2020-5/29/2020 (Chicago, IL): There's definitely a bit of a low-sulphur sense on the nose here, but there's a really lovely hit of minerality right off the bat. You get a little bit of creaminess and some citrus curd on the palate, with racy acidity that isn't sharp. Mineral, crisp, clean, and easy to drink.

Deep, piercing acidity and long finish, struck match and ripe citrus on the nose. Medium body, absolutely delicious, drank at Ategis bistro.
