Aerated from bottle. Pale yellow color. Fresh linen, sea breeze on the nose, clean. Very light upfront, distinctive oceanic notes. Clean follow, slate dry on the tongue. Lovely white, cleaner than some other chardonnay varieties.

Fresh, citrusy and minerally; yet round and buttery. A solid Chablis premier cru for a Sunday luncheon.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Walk around tasting, brief note. Clearly more concentration, depth and length, ending with a crunchy finish. Slightly backward now, better to hold until 2022 or later. Very good value 1er Cru.
