A very nice wine from an incredibly prestigious producer that is approachable and affordable. Has a straw yellow color in the glass with medium/low viscosity. On the nose, it's super clean and bright with all citrus: candied lemon, grilled pineapple, maybe a touch of tangerine. All this is framed by a bracing acidity that is in a terrific spot right now, ensuring an elongated finish. Drank over three nights with consistent notes, I think the acidity will carry this wine for 10yrs easily if not more. Given the complexity, I'd also consider this perfectly appropriate to serve with savory food even though most people would likely view this as more of a dessert wine.

Cool crossing of riesling and silvaner, my first rieslaner. Beautiful dense golden in appearance. Nose is tropical - sweet and fresh peach, mango, abricot - and some citrus, Christmas spices. Palate is full-bodied, acidity retained, full and superb mouthfeel, and lengthy finish.

Pure Rieslaner Magic! Hight tones of cardamon and lemongrass. Piquant candied apples and mouthwatering acidity. It was a wonderful way to cap off Christmas night.

Too young but very enjoyable already. Various tropic fruit flavors mixed with some minor lemon notes and nice minerality starting at midpalate. The acidity is present enough to buffer the sweetness. This Auslese is crispy and light. Very good stuff!
