Great at first but lost its touch the longer it was open. I though the fruit was brighter up front, tart cherries and wild flowers followed by earthier elements.

Sat the bottle for 1 hour and then opened and poured into a decanter. Decanted for 45 minutes. 13.5% alcohol but I sniffed it on first nose. It blew off almost immediately.
Slightly smokey, organic nose. Reminded me of a southern Rhone cut with Syrah. Front of the mouth is delicious with fruit tones of light fruit, maybe cherry, and light structure on the mid palate. The finish though was amazing. Stayed with me for at least a half minute or longer. On comparison, it is a unique flavor for a Sonoma Pinot. Very much in the same form as the quality Willamette Valley Pinots'. Light body, quality fruit, subtle, and exploding flavors on the mid palate and finish. An outstanding product from a terrific producer.
This wine will be an exceptional wine for many years. Very Burgundian and delicious. It was a treat with my baked potato and grilled veal chop. Excited about ordering more!!
