Cola, ocean, mushroom, and spicy plum aromas are fairly harmonious despite elevated alcohol aromas. Slightly heavy and overly ripe palate can be cloying. Seems to be good quality fruit just not expressed well. One of those wines that doesn't capture the vintage.

This was just OK. Not quite up to the standard I had come to expect from this winery, but it has been years since I tasted one. Has anything changed? 4-11-15-7: 87/100.

I really like the subtle balance and medium weight of this Sonoma (Petaluma Gap) Pinot Noir.
