  • At least 2 hrs decant necessary for this right now, and more is not a bad idea at all. Initial aromas heavy on very ripe raspberry, stewed cherry, raw wood, leather, cinnamon. Dark purple in the glass. On the palate, sweet edge to the brambly raspberry and roast meat. Overall, experienced a lot more Grenache than Syrah. After about 3-4 hours there were hints of rosemary and hot tar(?). I think this is still on the ascent. Right now I would fearlessly give it a lot of air before tasting. Might be better in 3-5 years.
