  Upfront white grapefruit and passion fruit flavours dominated. Savoury at first but with a little sweetness on the finish. Perhaps a little too flamboyant, the expressive fruit characters came at the expense of a steely core. By no means a poor wine, but not in the same league as the 2016 or 2019 vintages. CHP 89 pts

  Similar to recent bottles. A household fav. I asked the table about that smell I always struggle with describing. Nobody gave me an answer until Murphie's 16 yr old niece smelled her mom's and said "plum?"
