Don’t fear aged California Pinots if made with care. This one is a Wonderful example when time is allowed to exert its influence. Showed very well, no faded color and no sign of any sediment. Nose of cedar and fig. Flavors of allspice, clove, anise, prune and maraschino cherry. A delight to sip with a game hen dinner.

This one is in a great place at the moment. Still a bit heavy on the oak but is drinking very well and is a great SCM PN example. Drink now and over the next 3-5.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, dust, berries and cherries. Flavors of berries, raspberries and cherries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full body. Drink now with some air or continue to hold.

Super fresh, a bit funky, but some silk, and currant, and raspberry on the palate.
