Marvellous showing. Rich and fat with a display of tropical fruits, ripe pear, asian spices and salt. I like the way Rousanne evolves into something round, smoothly and spicy. Comfort wine for minus degrees in the cold north. Needs food.

Very rich and opulent - fruit and oak working well together. Ripe orchard and tropical fruits, white flower, vanilla, clove and smoke. Full bodied, low acidity, alcohol well integrated. Medium+ finish. Bottle label suggests drinking in its youth but certainly very good at 5 years. I just wish it wasn’t in such a heavy bottle. Why??

Still drinking very well, similar to my note from 2+ years ago. The finish is still has impressive complexity, but there's a touch of heat poking out now. Very enjoyable, lowe acidity and broad. But I would be hesitant to try ageing this for too much longer. Will plan to drink my final bottle within the next year or so.

Gold hue. Really thick and such peachy fruit as to seem sweet.
