Ripe plum and black cherry with plenty of espresso and chocolate, then black pepper and anise hints. Fruit is reasonably mature, tannins still quite assertive, particularly on the slightly drying finish. Time to drink up.

This is a nice wine, but a bit hot and unbalanced for my tastes. Inky purple, smelling of black plum and black cherries. In the mouth with some tar, leather, tree bark, and the like. Finishes dry and hot, but long. I sense the EtOH is high but not sure what it is. The blend is an unusual tempranillo meets medoc and not sure i really get it.
