  The Five Levels of Northern Rhone Drinking (Triomphe): A blend mostly of old-vine Grenache Gris with younger Vermentino and Roussanne, barrel-fermented sur lie. Light resinous nose with floral accents. It's a bright, spring-and-summer-in-a-bottle wine that sits on the palate softly and then finishes with a long rendering of rocks and schist and metal shavings in high-definition 1080p digital precision. At Level One, your virgin palate is primed to take in all those nuances and sit for awhile, not taking another sip, as the finish gradually unfolds. This one delivers and should be a great value.
