Pale purple w/ med. density legs that flow down the glass at moderate speed. Moderately rich texture with plum, cherry, and maybe light cocoa. Acidic and fairly tannic with a slightly earthy presence that prepares a lingering finish. Lightly silky texture. Not much depth, but you don't expect much for $11. Easy drinking, but not much on its own. I enjoyed it more when I paired it with Greek feta. Anything creamy, salty, and sweet is likely to enhance the sensory experience. Overall, a solid "Good" rating, but I'll mark it an 86.

Mmm Beaujolais... this one sappy, grippy, bit sharp, hearty, bit of farmyard, tasty fruity young cherry. Popular in our house.
