G5; 4*+9+4.5+8.5*+9+4.5*+4.5=94+ Riedel Performance Chardonnay glasses at cellar temp and warming. Do NOT drink cold! Pretty much pop, pour, drink. Pale yellow-gold color with nice clarity, but not necessarily "brightness." Strong aromatics typical of Aubert with ripe orchard fruits and "kerosene/petrol" notes. Mouthfeel is smooth, crisp with an alcohol/acid close. Flavors are certainly in the pear, apple, peach orchard with that consistent petrol finish, which is not distracting and is probably best described in some other manner (tropical/ pineapple/ butterscotch/ tangerine combo?). It is all there. Add just a touch of Corton Charlemagne minerality for a very balanced profile. Finish is long (of course) with no bad notes coming or going. This is a well-balanced, well-made wine that is drinking quite well now, but there is no reason to assume it won't last many years.

A beautiful chardonnay with a palate of peach, lemon rind and tangerine leading to a long, lush finish. Drank with an oven roasted branzino which my wife convinced me to make. I was pushing for swordfish. Oh well the things we do to make our ladies happy. Again, not too cold, the closer to room temperature the better.

There is nothing like that tell-tale Aubert crisp minerality which the 2018 Eastside has in spades. Lemon zest and cashew nuts. Full saturation without ever feeling heavy.

Full bodied and confident in who it is. Delicious, and unquestionably Aubert
