Super beau et granc de gout. Sur les agrumes et les herbes avec de la pomme et un peu de sels. Super long et bien équilibré. La finale nous laisse sur une impression de minéraux. EXCELLENT!

Francois Cotat tasting 1999-2020 (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Showed better right in the first glass than Les Cul, but a bit edgier than the Monts Damnes. Citrus, young yellow apple, grapefruit, tangerine, a bit waxy and a oily mouthfeel. Medium+ acidity, long finish 91-92+
17 months after the prior, and our fourth: Hmmm, this showed as a bit hot. Still has northern Rhône-like oiliness. Good acidity. A touch of bitter stone fruit. Enjoyable enough over three nights. We will try to remember to put aside the remaining bottles for a couple years. PS: But see my comment of December 2021 — I’ve realized late that this was a wine made by cousin Pascal, not by cousin François!
Side by side with a Chassange de Pillot. Initially it’s like feeling pure juice of a lemon, sizzling in the nose and only a few limestone notes can get my mind out of that monotony. On the palate it is very young, that is, abundant and very acidic, with a good length and a mineral finish. Its time will come.

Great wine in a nice spot! Can definitely gain a little more on some more time but i think this is great now!
Balanced with mandarine, green apple and a chalky minerality!
Love this!
