A dinner for two (Frenchie, Covent Garden, London): £12.50/glass. To go with Roquefort and Beaufort cheeses (with two different honeys and seed crackers), as well as the banoffee, nutmeg and caramelised pecan mousse. Good match with both. Rafafia liqueur added to stop the fermentation, giving it more of a spirit-like sense than a dessert wine. Much more refreshing than I would expect from a dessert wine, making it a really good match for both the richness and the sweetness.
