This is a rather interesting blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and "an indigenous variety" (according to the producer website).
The nose is complex - notes of salinity, sweet white fruit, and a little oak. The chardonnay seems to the fore here.
The palate goes from bite through lightly oaked fruit, with the pinot bianco prominent, to an unusual finish which has hints of sweetness.
It's an intriguing package all in all, and would make for some interesting food pairings. I would happily get more in, but sadly my supplier has run out of stock. OK QPR at ~US$25.
