Great Syrah perfume out of the bottle. White pepper, violet pastille, thyme, black raspberry--savory, like Syrah essential oil. Dark but fresh fruit on palate, a bit juicy, open knit with integrated tannins. Succulent finish.
Can hold, but drinking well now, especially for the varietal bouquet. Mostly Los Alamos fruit, it looks like, hence the peppery cool-ish climate character, without the more feral nature of a cold climate Syrah.
