  • Enjoyed earlier tonight with our unofficial dinner club at M5 restaurant in Charlotte NC. A real pleasant surprise of a wine, very good and at this price point a very good QPR. Bold wine, purple / black color, very smooth and well balanced at this point, long lingering spicy and peppery aftertaste. Nose initially muted but on opening in glass the bouquet presented a range of dark stone fruit, initially white pepper and some red cherry. Primary flavors included some cassis, blackberry, dark stone fruit with development of leather, smoke and black pepper as wine developed on palate. Highly recommend this wine.
