This limpid, medium golden wine was uncorked and poured at a dinner party. Serially sampled over a 3-4 hour period, it fully opens within the first hour to unleash lemons, quince, almonds, jasmine and wet stones on both the nose and medium-bodied palate. Ric Forman precluded this Chardonnay from undergoing malolactic fermentation, resulting in an impressively vibrant version of the grape. Although barrel-fermented, the oak lurks nicely in the background and does not overwhelm the flavors. Solid on the mid-palate and concluding with a long, racy finish, this is a delight to drink. It should be at its best over the next 4-5 years. Drink now-2026.

Slight chill, PnP with Dijon chicken burgers. Drank over 2 hours
Light gold color. Nose of light citrus, dried flowers. Palate of orchard fruits, lemon zest. Elegant, light texture. Medium weight and finish.
Will be interesting to see this age. Its light weight by design (by Napa standards), drinks well but I think it may be better in a few years. Benefits from air time now. Would hold off rating for a couple years

Opened and let breathe in the bottle. At this stage I would either decant for several hours or better yet let it rest in the cellar for at least two years. All the stuffing is there to be a nice chardonnay but time required for better integration.

Overripe fruit, mango, glue. Probably a bad bottle.
