  I have always liked the CVR and this 2017 was exceptionally good. Tannins and fruit are very well balanced and the 14.8% doesn't really show itself. I was quite impressed how this bottle has aged.

  Floral on nose, smoked meat, cherry liqueur, full bodied. Despite alcohol weight it wasn’t noticeable. Very integrated tannins. Decanted 3 hours.

  Very nice wine. Paired with fondu which was.not ideal but we finished the bottle quickly.
